Cat 60 brings CtrlFrek’s playful Cat:3 world to a new 60% keyboard, developed in collaboration with KBDfans.

Refined over the better part of a year, the design pairs a compact footprint with gentler case curves, slimmer bezels and a distinctive cat illustration underneath. It brings CtrlFrek’s visual character together with KBDfans’ approach to keyboard engineering.

Customizable backplate assembly

Two removable Cat artwork pieces fit into the backplate. Choose different colors for the backplate and each piece to create your own combination.

OG & O-ring Mount

KBDfans’ custom mounting system combines a silicone ring with elastic supports for a soft, consistent typing feel. The default MX PCB uses O-ring Mount. Both options allow easy disassembly.

Can I buy the case separately?

Yes. The Cat 60 case is available separately. See Case contents under Product details for the included components.

Which MX layouts are available?

The MX hot-swap PCB is available in ANSI and ISO versions.

What do I need for a Wooting 60HE / 60HE+ case swap?

Keep the original PCB and plate. Add a custom silicone ring (CSR), Mini Gaskets and the Cat 60 FPC cable + daughterboard.

Can I keep the original 60HE v2 assembly?

Yes. Add Mini Gaskets and the Cat 60 FPC cable + daughterboard. No replacement CSR is needed.

What should I know about the paint-filled finish?

The minor finish variations shown below are normal for paint-filled artwork. These include tiny surface pits, occasional dark specks, and slight paint overflow at the edges of the recess.

The base coat is spray-applied before the artwork is filled with paint. Small irregularities in the sprayed surface can remain visible as tiny pits after filling.
